OPC Technology
OPC and OPC UA (Unified Architecture) are industry standards that enable software to connect devices, machines and systems from different manufacturers using same interface. OPC servers add value for any device, machine or system, as it reduces any integration or application software development costs. Similarly application software (such as data acquisition and monitoring) utilizing OPC client features, can be connected to any OPC server in a standard way without customization. OPC specifications are developed and managed by OPC Foundation.
Products
Prosys OPC UA Java SDK enables efficient development of OPC UA clients & servers using Java. Typically OPC UA is used for data acquisition, process monitoring, device diagnostics, system integration, etc. The components allow you to concentrate on the application design instead of implementing the actual OPC UA communications. This will reduce the required time and cost of your own development.
OPC UA Gateway is a high performance Wrapper/Proxy that enables OPC DA (Data Access) products to be connected with the new OPC UA (Unified Architecture) products.
Prosys OPC SDK Sentrol is a leading OPC Client and Server SDK (software development kit) enabling efficient and reliable OPC application development. Sentrol is available for the Windows rapid application development tools Embarcadero Delphi and C++ Builder. Typical applications include data acquisition, human-machine-interfaces (HMI, MMI), process monitoring, reporting solutions and system integration.
Prosys OPC to Database [OPC2DB] is a Windows application used for logging data from OPC servers to databases. Product works with unlimited number of OPC connections, OPC items, database connections and database tables. OPC2DB can be used in both application and service mode.
Prosys OPC Client is a free OPC test client – connect and browse any OPC server.
Prosys OPC Simulation Server is a free simulation OPC server – get test data for your OPC client.
